Remembering Magic

On Thursday, 11-11-10 our beloved brother & bass player of 19 years, Melvin "Magic" Sheppard passed away. The wake and memorial service will be held on Saturday, 11-20-10 at NEW LIFE IN THE WORD MINISTRY located at 4521 Englewood Street Houston, Texas 77026 The wake will be from 9am-11am and the memorial will immediately follow. Thank you one and all for your kindness during this time of sadness. We love and miss "Magic" so very much but we know he is now in a peaceful place with the lord....

Many kind folks have asked if they can donate to a cause in Magic's name. If I may suggest: Magic loved his mother and did everything he could to help her. She receives kidney dialysis 3 times per week. I am very concerned about her ability to sustain herself without him. Those that wish to donate would put a huge smile on Magic's face if they would make a small donation to his mother, Charlene Massey. Donations can be given to me as you see me or mailed to 2038-B Norfolk Street, Apt. B Houston, Texas 77098 I will see to it that Ms. Massey receives them...If you have time you might want to share your thoughts on Magic in a short note. I know she would be thrilled...
